Product Overview:
This IC is a secondary step buck DC-DC controller with a built-in Power Good function, developed using CMOS process technology.
Users can select between PWM control (S-19952 series) and PWM/PFM switching control (S-19953 series) via an option.
The S-19952 series is fixed to PWM control and can be used without interfering with the AM radio band.
The S-19953 series operates in PWM mode under heavy loads and automatically switches to PFM mode under light loads. This PWM/PFM switching control enables high-efficiency operation tailored to the device’s operating conditions.
This IC is housed in a compact package, and the application circuit can be constructed with a minimum of one inductor and two capacitors. With an oscillation frequency of up to 2.25 MHz and miniaturized external components, it is suitable for space-saving applications.
