In February 2026, Chuangneng Electronic (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of the Weltronics Group, hereinafter referred to as “Weltronics”) officially received a distributor authorization certificate issued by Zhuzhou CRRC Times Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhuzhou CRRC Times Semiconductor”).

This authorization marks a new milestone in Weltronics’ business expansion within the power semiconductor device and module application market. As an authorized distributor, Weltronics will leverage the technical expertise and brand influence of Zhuzhou CRRC Times Semiconductor to provide customers with high-quality products and localized, professional sales and after-sales support.

Zhuzhou CRRC Times Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of CRRC Times Electric, a joint-stock company under CRRC (whose predecessor and parent company, CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd., was founded in 1959). It is one of the few companies worldwide that simultaneously possesses expertise in high-power thyristors, IGCT, IGBT, and SiC devices and their component technologies. It possesses a complete, independently controlled industrial chain spanning chips, modules, equipment, and systems.
