Bodenheim, May 2026 – In the upcoming webinar “26-Bit Encoder Resolution. Maximum Design Flexibility. iC-RT2624”, iC-Haus presents a new system-on-chip for high-resolution optical encoders. The English-language webinar is aimed at developers, system architects and product managers of encoder and motion control systems. Participants will gain practical insights into modern and flexible encoder design based on a fully integrated single-chip solution.
The iC-RT2624 is the new System-on-Chip for optical absolute encoders with up to 26 bits. Its wide range of programmable output interfaces — BiSS, SSI, SPI, ABZ, UVW and Sin/Cos — integrate it into almost any application. Thanks to contamination-tolerant scanning and high mounting tolerances, the iC-RT2624 is suitable for housed as well as kit-style encoders. Code disc dimensions can be freely adjusted with FlexCode® within an outer diameter of 20–80 mm. This enables both compact motor feedback and larger hollow shaft encoders to be developed using the same sensor. With on-chip auto-calibration and eccentricity compensation, iC-RT2624 encoder systems easily achieve an angular accuracy of less than 0.01°.
